What’s in my work bag?

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a ‘what’s in my bag?’ blog post and so I thought with spring just around the corner, now would be the perfect time.

Like always, I’ll start with the bag itself… this beautiful bag is from Tobi and it’s the ‘Yuni black large leather embroidery tote’. I like to use this for work, and trips out as it’s large enough to fit everything in but not too big that it’s heavy to carry.

The first thing that I will always have in my bag, is my makeup bag. Mine is from Oliver Bonas, and inside I’ll keep the usual everyday ‘touch up’ products like my favourite Tarte Shape Tape concealer, Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette and Nars powder as well as my favourite brushes.

Since this bag is bigger than all of my other bags, I am able to carry a perfume around with me to keep myself smelling fresh throughout the day. Since it’s for everyday wear, I don’t like to use any of my fancy perfumes and this one from Zara Oriental Delice is one of my High Street favourites. With notes of black coffee, jasmine and white chocolate it’s the perfect all year-round scent.

Typically, I try to drink 2-3 litres of water at work to keep my skin looking healthy, so carrying a water bottle in my bag is always a must.

Since there’s a little pocket in this bag, I like to pop my favourite lipsticks and lip balms in there. My current go-to lipsticks are the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in the shade ‘show girl’ and MAC’s ‘really me’. I stash a few in there, just so I have a few options for emergencies! For lip balm, Carmex is definitely my favourite!

Aside from the obvious, keys, my purse, pens, phone charger and phone, that’s all I keep in my bag!
