January Favourites

We’re officially less than 48 hours away from the second month of 2018, and I honestly can’t believe it! It’s just flown by. I thought it would be good if every month this year I did a roundup of my top beauty finds, from my favourite celebrity makeup looks all the way to my favourite haircare products. This way, at the end of 2018 I can look back and reflect on all the products I have loved throughout the year.

Makeup Look of the Month-

Let’s start with my top makeup look from January, this was a hard one because I’ve seen so many lovely looks, but one that stood out for me was Bella Hadid’s 2018 Dior Campaign shoot. I’ve been really into pinks and reds on the eyes this year, and love this look on Bella. Her base makeup looks flawless, as always, and her lip colour is stunning, I definitely need to get my hands on one of these new Dior Lipglows.

Skincare Product of the Month-

This month has not been a great month for my skin, and it’s probably from indulging over the Christmas break. However, one product that I’ve found really works for my skin is the Clinique Moisture Surge Facial Mist. If you’ve read my ‘What I got for Christmas’ blog post, then you’ll know that I received this in a mini set, and after using it every day in January, it’s now time for me to buy the full size. This mist is perfect for giving my face even more moisture, but still feels light and sinks in quickly to the skin.

Makeup Product of the Month-

Choosing my favourite makeup product of the month has been so difficult, especially because I started the month with a number of new products. Saying this, my favourite product of the month is one that I’ve actually been using for a couple of months now and it’s the Tarte Shapetape concealer. I know just about every beauty blogger in the world loves this, but I can totally see why. My go-to makeup look has been this concealer where I need it, face powder, bronzer and highlight and that’s all. This product honestly leaves my face looking flawless. Haircare Product of the Month-

If you’ve read any of my recent blog posts, you’ll know that this month I got sent the Percy and Reed Wonder Glow shampoo and conditioner in their travel size, and honestly, I love them. Although I only wash my hair one to two times a week, I have been using these for each wash. They leave my hair feeling super silky! (Again, you can read my full review here).

Nail Colour of the Month-

I try to paint my nails every week, and in January I’ve found myself reaching for Essie’s ‘Stylenomics’ multiple times. Stylenomics is a very dark green, and it’s perfect for these colder months. Essie has to be my favourite nail polish brand, and this colour is my ultimate go-to.

Lip Product of the Month-

I try to change up my lip products as often as possible, whether it be my lipstick or my lip balm. My favourite product this month has been my Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in the shade ‘Best Actress’. Due to the weather, my lips have been really dry, but this product somehow makes them look perfect. Compared to other matte lipsticks, this isn’t drying at all and can be applied in one swipe. Charlotte Tilbury has some of the best lipstick formulas in the beauty industry and I’d highly recommend giving them a try!

That’s all for my January favourites, I can’t wait to see what’s on the list for next month!
