Five Tips for Glowing Skin

Let’s be honest, there are very few people who are lucky enough to have naturally flawless skin, but I always do what I can to give my skin a glowy look to ensure it always looks as healthy as possible – even on break-out days! So, I thought I would share with you all my top tips for healthy looking skin, all year round!

  1. Drink lots of water

Although obvious, I would highly recommend drinking lots of water. I personally try to drink over two litres a day, and if I don’t I really notice a difference in how my skin looks and feels.

  1. Use the appropriate skincare products for you

Unfortunately, this step is a case of trial and error, and you may have to keep changing the products up but, I’ve found that once you have found your skincare go-to, it really has a positive effect on how your skin looks. Remember to regularly exfoliate and whether you have oily skin or not, you should ALWAYS use a moisturiser!


  1. Stick to your ‘5 a day’

Eating greens such as broccoli, spinach and Brussels sprouts protects skin and can also prevent premature aging.  Also, fruits such as blueberries and grapefruits, are high in vitamins that help towards collagen production and keeps skin looking young and smooth. Not to mention all of the other health benefits of eating these yummy foods!

  1. Sleep well

I didn’t fully understand the full benefits of sleep and its impact on the skin until recently. Lack of sleep can actually make your skin look very dull and tired, so you should really try to get at least eight hours a night.

  1. Use products to enhance the glow

If your skin doesn’t have a natural glow, why not ‘fake it ‘til you make it’. I would highly suggest using the Glam Glow Glowstarter Moisturiser in the shade ‘Sun Glow’. It not only adds a little colour to your skin but also adds radiance, blurs imperfections and reflects light! Although a tad expensive, it will last you a long time, meaning you get a lot of product for your money.
