Never have I been so excited to talk about a brand as I am about this one. IT Cosmetics is finally being sold in Selfridges! After years of listening to American YouTubers raving about this brand, I can finally share my thoughts on a few favourite products from the line which I recently purchased from Selfridges!
Before I start, let’s talk a little bit about the brand…
Launched in 2008, the philosophy behind IT Cosmetics is “To give you the power to look and feel your most beautiful” and the company really has created a range of ground-breaking products that are clinically proven to care for skin, whilst using the best ingredients!
As soon as I got an email from Selfridges saying that IT Cosmetics was now available in their stores and online, I knew there was one product that I needed to pick up: the Bye Bye Under-Eye Concealer (£22.50). I had heard a lot of Bloggers and YouTubers talking about this, so I just had to try! The product itself comes in a squeezable tube, making it easy to get the product out. I find that the texture of the concealer is unique; it’s moisturising, but sticks so well to the skin and has a full coverage! It’s so thick and pigmented that it blends beautifully with the finger and lasts all day on the skin; a little bit goes a long way, trust me! So far, I think this concealer would be perfect for winter, due to it’s thickness, but I’m loving it at the moment and would definitely recommend!
The next product I ordered was the ‘Your Skin but Better’ CC cream (£30). Again, another really hyped up product on social media! I love a good BB/CC cream so I was excited to get this, and I was certainly not disappointed. A few benefits include:
- It has a pump applicator, perfect for hygiene and travel,
- It has an SPF of 50,
- Most importantly, it’s cruelty-free!
Furthermore, it covers way more than any other CC cream I’ve ever used, but still feels so lightweight and moisturising on the skin. If you’re wondering about the finish of this CC cream, it leaves a dewy but not greasy finish on the skin, and doesn’t cake up when a light dusting of powder is applied. I have only used this product three times, but I can already tell that it’s going to be a summer staple for me!
The final item that I purchased is the CC+ Ombre Radiance Bronzer (£25), which was created to give women the option of personalising their bronzed glow; hence, the ombre affect. Although I haven’t heard much about this I thought it was so beautiful that I wanted to buy it anyway! When I ordered the product, I expected it to be an average size but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, as it’s huge. You’ll be able to see from the picture just how much product there is, which makes it worth every penny! The texture of the powder is very soft, almost creamy to the touch, and blends beautifully onto the skin. If you’ve read any of my other posts, then you’ll know that I love a bronzed glowy makeup look, and this makes the perfect summer bronzer!
Overall, I am so happy with all of these makeup items and IT Cosmetics has truly lived up to all of my expectations. There are so many products now available to us from Selfridges and I can’t wait to get my hands on even more!
