If you’ve read my blog before then you’ll know that I’m a high-end girl. I love my luxury makeup and I don’t mind spending money on something that I know is going to be good. However, saying this I also do love finding great products from the drugstore. Especially when it’s a bargain buy! So, I thought why not share with you all the top five products that I love that are under £10.
First up we have the Collection Lengthening Mascara (£3.99). This mascara is great, it comes in lime green and black packaging with a plastic brush with tiny bristles, perfect for getting every lash! This mascara is perfect to give length to your lashes, especially after the second coat. For £3.99, you can’t really go wrong, it’s super black, doesn’t budge throughout the day and makes my lashes look thicker and longer!
Next up, I want to mention the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte-Lip 3D Lip Colour and Sculpt (£3.50), try saying that five times fast! I have this in two shades, both very, very different, so I feel like I can give an honest judgement. Before I talk about the shades, I just want to say that these lipsticks are lovely; they’re pigmented yet creamy and last all day. The first shade is ‘Berry Much’, a deep purple-toned berry. I was really surprised by this shade as I didn’t think it would be very pigmented, but you’ll see from the swatch how beautiful it is! The next shade I have is ‘Pretty Muted’, a nude pink which is also just as beautiful! If you’re not a fan of the drying matte lip formula then these would be perfect for you! They don’t dry and stay creamy on the lips so you can still rub your lips together and have a velvety texture!

Keeping up with the makeup, the next item on my list is the MUA Undress Your Skin Pearlescent Sheen Highlighter (£3.00)! I’ve spoken about this in a previous blog post, but I couldn’t not mention it in this one. Pearlescent Sheen is a duo chrome, blue/purple highlighter, that looks beautiful on any skin tone! With one swipe, it applies smoothly on the skin whilst still having maximum pigment, and it lasts all day! I have a few other shades from the Undress Your Skin highlighter line which I also love, but this one it definitely my favourite!
The next item on my list I purchased when on holiday in Spain and I’m not 100% sure if you can get your hands on it in the UK (if you can I will link it), but I had to mention this because this is one of the best foundations that I have ever tried! The Maybelline Age Rewind Foundation (£7) is a beautiful lightweight, medium coverage foundation with SPF 18. I hadn’t heard anything about this foundation but when I saw it I knew I had to purchase it since I love the concealer so much and Maybelline didn’t let me down! Unlike other foundations, this doesn’t oxidize and lasts all day! I need to get more as this shade is more for when I’m tanned!
Finally, I thought that it would be nice to include a bargain buy moisturiser as I find that most people recommend using Simple as drugstore skin care. I’ve recently been using and LOVING The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factor + HA (£5). I always apply this after I’ve cleansed my face and before makeup, and it sinks in almost immediately, which I love because I hate moisturisers that take forever to soak in! If you’re looking for a moisturiser with great ingredients, that won’t break you out, then you need to try this! After being so impressed by this, I really want to try out more by The Ordinary!
I hope you enjoy reading about my favourite bargain buys, let me know what yours are on Twitter- @Emstagramr or in the comments below!
